FULL SERVICE DESIGN

Full Service Design allows our clients the luxury to sit back and enjoy the process of having a design professional execute their project from start to finish. This includes designing, sourcing, and purchasing of all materials and furnishings, overseeing contractors, and the final installation. We start by working with our clients through a simple 3 step process to come up with a design concept, something that represents them or the lifestyle in which they want to live. We then transform the design concept into a story that is narrated by the design and illustrated through furnishings. This process allows our design team to fully execute our combined vision while creating a space that is functional and unique to our clients style.


THE PROCESS


STEP 1 :  THE PROJECT ASSESSMENT

We start with a 1 hour Project Assessment where we walkthrough your space(s) and discuss it’s potential, review your lifestyle needs, introduce you to Vivid Interiors and our design process, and discuss your budget requirements. By the end of our meeting we will have established a clear vision of your style, gain an understanding of your design expectations and discuss a timeline of completion. Most importantly we have established the overall scope of work for the project, which is an invaluable step which will lead us seamlessly into next step.

TIMEFRAME: 1 Day

 

Step 3 : ORDERING & INSTALLATION 

Once the client has approved the design development presentation, the designer will purchase all budgeted items, hire all contractors and tradespeople (if applicable), and shop for décor and accessories. Once everything has arrived, it will all be installed and your new space will be complete.

TIMEFRAME: 4-12 weeks from the presentation to the installation. This time can vary depending on how much custom furniture and the extent of the contract work.

Step 2 : DESIGN CONCEPT & DEVELOPMENT + PRESENTATION 

Over the next couple of weeks, the designer will begin to develop a design concept based on the information gathered in the Project Assessment. This concept will give you a visual insight into the look, feel, and color palette of the design to be. This concept will need to be reviewed and approved by the client before moving on to the design development process. During design development we will source fabrics, materials and furnishings to be used in the space. We will create floor plans, furniture plans, elevations, and custom drawings. We will combine all trade quotes/estimates from trade day and all materials and furnishings cost to create a budget. All findings will culminate into a full design package complete with a digital presentation, mood board, space plan, 3D renderings, budget disbursement, and material samples to touch and feel. This presentation will allow the client to see the maximum potential of their space and the associated cost.

TIMEFRAME: 2-4 weeks from the project assessment to the presentation. Plus an additional week for revisions.
