Founder of the Atlanta based Interior Design firm Vivid Interiors®, approaches design from an unconventional point of view.
In her teens she had a curious fascination for Interior Design but never knew she could make a career out of it. Every summer she would visit her aunt in Atlanta and with her she would bring a suitcase full of décor from her room and create a home away from home. This unconscious effort, and a little help from an unhealthy obsession with HGTV, lit the spark that propelled her into perusing this unexplored passion.
Receiving a B.F.A. in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (ranked #1 in the nation), grounds her in both skill and preparation, while experience at top Interior Design firms has honed her ability to manage high-profile projects. While in school she was awarded first place in the 2012 Pave the Way 3D Design Competition which made her the first African American women to win this national contest. With this major accomplishment and skill set under her belt she decided to build her own path, thus creating her own design firm, Vivid Interiors®.
Driven by the signature aesthetic and idiosyncratic spirit of its creator Aurielle Jones, Vivid Interiors is quickly earning a name for itself with clients seeking out its instantly recognizable “Edgy Glam” style. For every project, Aurielle draws from her love of editorial fashion photography, knowledge of historic architectural elements, and her fearless approach to using the color black.
As she continues to expand her Vivid empire, her future endeavors include a luxury home fragrance collection as well as a luxury pillow collection which can be viewed HERE
